Dr. Eby is an Ophthalmologist who practices at both Traverse City Eye’s locations in Traverse City and Kalkaska, Michigan (located on the second floor of Kalkaska Memorial Hospital).
Dr. Eby completed her internship and residency through the Kresge Eye Center at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where she also received her medical degree. Dr. Eby completed her undergraduate degree at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Throughout her years of education and training, Dr. Eby has been actively involved in many leadership roles that include Chief Resident at Wayne State University, working with 20+ ophthalmology residents. She was also the Chapter President for the World Health Student Organization while at Wayne State University. She held the role of President for the Aesculapians Honor Society and the American Medical Women’s Association.
Dr. Eby is excited to provide comprehensive eye care services including, comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, cataract surgery, glaucoma monitoring as well as laser and surgical treatment, diabetic eye and macular degeneration eye care including laser treatments and eye injections, and eyelid plastic surgery.
Dr. Eby is originally from Ontario, Canada. She has recently settled into her new home in Traverse City with her husband, Axel, and new baby, Grant. Dr. Eby couldn’t be more excited to be living and working in beautiful northern Michigan, where she likes to get outside and enjoy nature – especially capturing it with her love of photography.
