Jodi M. Hummel, OD
Jodi M. Hummel, OD earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2001 and has a BS degree in Applied Biology from Ferris State University. Dr. Hummel returned to northern Michigan in 2007 after service as an optometrist in Rochester, New York.
At Traverse City Eye, Dr. Hummel provides primary vision care such as prescriptions for eye glasses and contact lenses, including examining the patient’s eyes to diagnose vision problems and eye diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts and glaucoma.
Dr. Hummel is state licensed and also has licensure through the State of Michigan in therapeutic medications which allows her to prescribe medications for glaucoma, eye infections and other eye conditions.
